Essex Budo Kan was founded in 1980 by Sensei Chris Moslin, 6th Dan Aikido and 6th Dan Budo who teaches at the meetings with help from several club instructors. Essex Budo Kan is one of a group of like minded clubs which together form The Aiki Budo Fraternity. The UK clubs within the Fraternity are also members of NAKMAS , an umbrella organisation for smaller Martial Arts Clubs, supplying insurance, technical and coaching courses and backup. The club is also registered as a member of the International Martial Arts Federation, Kokusai Budoin-Kokusai Budo Renmei, the oldest Japanese Budo Federation the world. |
