INSTRUCTORS

The present Chief instructor within Aiki Budo Fraternity, Chris Moslin 6th Dan is a Nationally and Internationally recognised and graded Instructor. Chris has trained with and under various sensei over the years but believes that those most responsible for his advancement have been Noro Senseii in France then later Hans von Rolbeck 9th Dan (Germany, Aikido & Ki-Jutsu), Dieter Losgen 9th Dan (Germany Jujutsu), Carl Wagner 8th Dan (Germany Jujutsu), Jhonny Bernaschewice 7th Dan( Belgium Aikido & Hakkyu Ryu Jujutsu). Without these excellent and enlightened sensei it is most probable that he would have still been following the dogmatic approach of the old BAF and his Aikido would never have advanced, contrary to the thoughts of venerable O'Sensei Morihei Ueshiba who stated that Aikido was without depth. In other words, there is no end to what can be achieved through innovation. Chris has also trained under and attended courses run by such diverse sensei as Chiba, Saito, Kenetsuka, Pat Stratford, Pete Monkman, Brian Dossett, W Kolesnikov and E.W.J.Stratton to name but a few. He is is one of an exceedingly rare breed of instructor who took a mat grading for his 5th Dan and actually holds two 5th Dan Aikido Grading Certificates taken at different times.
In 2003 he was appointed the Director of Aikido for the Kodo Butoku Renmei.

Senior Instructor of the White House Budo Kai in Ipswich.
and 3rd Dan Budo Kai/M.M.A. & 2nd Dan Aikido.
I have been practicing martial arts from the age of eight and enjoyed every minute of it. My older brother introduced me to his
instructor and he asked me why I wanted to learn martial arts. I told him that I was bullied at school and how I was low in self
confidence. He said to me “ What I will teach you will help you build your mind and body and in time build confidence in my fellow man”. I had so much anger built up inside me but he helped me to channel my strength and so I became a better man. At the present time I am at a the stage where I can teach others. I have tried to develop a relaxed teaching style in the belief that students learn quicker in friendly controlled surroundings. The most gratifying thing is seeing students training,
enjoying what they are doing and leaving with a smile on their faces at the end of a training session. There are no black belt secrets, all
students practice all techniques regardless, with varying degrees of skill
